Sponsoring a child through Bethesda is a personal and meaningful way to support a child's care, education, health, and development within a safe and nurturing environment.
When you become a sponsor, Bethesda may share a welcome update with you, including an appropriate child profile and photo where consent has been obtained and safeguarding review has been completed. Throughout the year, you may receive updates on the child's wellbeing, school progress, personal growth, and life at Bethesda. These may include photos, drawings, letters, or short messages, depending on the child's age, comfort, and consent.
Sponsors may send letters of encouragement through Bethesda. Visits may also be arranged in advance where appropriate. All communication and visits are handled through our team and follow Bethesda's safeguarding procedures.
