When you become a sponsor, Bethesda will share a welcome update explaining the sponsorship process and how your support helps provide care, education, health, nutrition, clothing, and daily support for children at Bethesda.
From time to time, sponsors may receive child-safe updates on wellbeing, school progress, milestones, and life at Bethesda. Any child-specific information, photo, drawing, letter, or message is shared only where appropriate consent has been obtained and safeguarding review has been completed.
Sponsors may send letters of encouragement through Bethesda. Visits may also be arranged in advance where appropriate. All communication and visits are handled through our team and follow Bethesda's safeguarding procedures.

Our Commitment to Child Protection
Bethesda is committed to protecting the safety, privacy, and dignity of every child in our care. Sponsor communication, photos, updates, and visits are managed by Bethesda staff and are never handled privately between a sponsor and a child. We do this to ensure sponsorship remains encouraging, respectful, and safe for every child.
Sponsors receive meaningful updates, but Bethesda does not guarantee child photos or detailed child profiles. Every update is guided by the child's safety, dignity, privacy, and best interests.
