Donations made to Bethesda Child Care Centre are voluntary and non-refundable. They are processed through secure third-party platforms including M-Pesa, PayPal, and I&M Bank. Bethesda collects personal information that users voluntarily submit through contact, donation, volunteer, employment, partnership, and sponsorship forms. This may include name, email address, phone number, country of residence, message content, donation reference details, application information, and other information submitted by the user.

We use this information to respond to enquiries, process donor communication, review applications, manage sponsorship and partnership requests, issue receipts, improve our communication, and meet legal or safeguarding obligations.

Bethesda does not sell personal information. We only share information where necessary for website operations, payment processing, legal compliance, safeguarding, child protection, or with trusted service providers who support our work.

Information relating to children is handled with heightened care. Bethesda does not publish children's full names, private histories, medical details, school details, court matters, family circumstances, or other sensitive personal information on this website. Photos, stories, and updates are shared only where appropriate consent has been obtained and where sharing is considered safe and respectful.

Submitting a volunteer or employment application through this website does not guarantee placement or employment. Bethesda Child Care Centre is committed to protecting the safety, dignity, privacy, and wellbeing of every child in our care. We do not allow private or unsupervised access to children by sponsors, donors, volunteers, visitors, or partners.

Sponsor communication, child updates, photos, letters, and visits are managed by Bethesda staff under our safeguarding procedures. Visitors and sponsors may not contact children directly, exchange personal contact details with children, or publish child images or information without written permission from Bethesda.
